THE DEVALUATION
All things being considered it becomes clear that the devaluation of human worth has affected the collective conscience of the nation. To halt the dire consequences of the slide into self-destruction, we are calling for the cooperation of all voices of hope across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
If we join hands together to see justice done in Gombe, then we stand a chance of reawakening the dead conscience of our nation. If the conscience of the nation is reawakened, then the value of life across the country will be lifted. Then our democracy, economy and social life can be set on the path of good progress.
This is where we need to fight a good fight so that the children of our tomorrow will stand a chance under the African sun.
TIME TO MOURN
We shall all rally round to mourn, support and stand with the family of the woman that was slain in Gombe, Mrs. Christiana Oluwaseesin.
We shall see redress in the judicial system that have, so far, stood by.
We will appeal to the code of honour that sponsors the force that was created to protect her.
We must reach out to all faiths that give value to life to go beyond dialogue to seek the enthronement of truth and justice.
We will fan the flames of conscience back to life at all levels of governance in the country.
We will give ourselves no rest until justice is done and value is restored to life across the length and breadth of Africa.
